Aero Consulting Services Ltd. (ACS) was founded in 1976, and is responsible for superior engineering and certification services. ACS is a Transport Canada Design Approval Organization (DAO 98-C-01) with authority to approve design data for Avionics, Interior Systems, Structures, Flammability, and Occupant Safety. Our knowledgeable staff can provide guidance, engineering design and certification services for a wide range of small to large aircraft modifications.
Northern Aero Industries (NAI) was acquired by ACS in 1996. NAI provides comprehensive manufacturing and maintenance solutions to customers locally, nationally and internationally. NAI is a Transport Canada approved manufacturer, distributor and maintenance provider of aeronautical products (AMO 88-97). NAI manufactures and distributes products designed by ACS and provides subcontract manufacturing to major airframe manufacturers and maintenance organizations worldwide.
In early 2008, Aero Consulting Services and Northern Aero Industries legally formed ACS-NAI, Ltd. Together, ACS-NAI is a powerful and unique company, combining design engineering, manufacturing and certification solutions available to the global aviation industry.
In 2008, ACS-NAI joined EMTEQ, Inc., a worldwide leader in the production and supply of innovative products for the aviation industry. EMTEQ specializes in avionics systems and integration, cabin management systems and cabin comfort solutions, interior and exterior lighting products, and comprehensive engineering and certification for both forward fit and retrofit applications in the military, corporate, HOS/VIP, helicopter and air transport markets.
